Thinking about relocating to Louisville from St. Louis

First post here. Just moved here 4 months ago and You can expect to pay around $2,069 for rent here. Rent is about $2,069/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Riverside for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Strong job market in several industries
- The public transit scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
