Healthcare options in Louisville?

Been living here since 2005. The median home value here is around $135,800, which is actually reasonable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great farm-to-table places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in South. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
