Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. You can expect to pay around $1,069 for rent here. It's a a major city city with about 627K people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Worth the trade-offs? Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
