What to expect moving to Loveland Park?

So, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 1,697, Loveland Park is a small town. The median home value here is around $243,600, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $116,919, which feels pretty solid for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor recreation is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Moved here from Minneapolis about 6 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to traffic but Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Midtown for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
- The school system scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Tampa it's hit or miss.
