Best companies to work for in Loves Park?

Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $144,900 on average. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,102/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to New York it's hit or miss.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Charlotte about 5 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. No regrets on my end..
