Housing market in Lowell — is it worth buying?
Median home value here is around $395,100. Prices are reasonable compared to major metros. For those renting, typical rent is $1603.
Is now a good time to buy in Lowell? Or better to keep renting?
Looking for opinions from both homeowners and renters.

Check out the Cedar Hills area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, it's been pretty safe in my area.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.
