So, My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Lower Burrell sits at 144.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in legal. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Southern.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'm a project manager and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is solid and there's always something going on.
