First post here. I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider — Lubbock sits at 1,008.1 per 100K. With a population of 261K, Lubbock is a mid-size city. Average temperature is around 64°F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $197,900, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do? Thanks in advance! Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
