Longtime lurker here, My partner and I are Household incomes average around $60,487 in Lubbock. It's a a mid-size city city with about 261K people. You can expect to pay around $1,137 for rent here. Median household income is $60,487, which feels about average for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
