First post here. The unemployment rate is 9.8%, which is concerning. The median home value here is around $240,000, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $240,000 on average. With a population of 5,946, Lucerne Valley is a small town. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
