Best restaurants in Lufkin?
Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 34,158 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
