Biggest downsides of living in Lufkin?
First post here. We have two kids and Rent is about $1,043/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 34,158 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? TIA! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
