Quick question about Luling

Hey, With a population of 13,873, Luling is a small town. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
