OK so I'm single, late 20s, and Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Came here for school and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The weather is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in North. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in tech. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Korean.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in finance. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.
