Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. Median household income is $104,551, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $271,500, which seems about average. It's a a small town city with about 13,803 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cheers. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in North for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- The cost of living scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a project manager and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

I work in manufacturing here and I love the pace of life here. The job market for my field is better than expected. Happy to answer more specific questions..
