How much do you pay for rent in Lynchburg?

Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Lynchburg sits at 383.0 per 100K. Rent is about $1,043/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Am I wrong here? Appreciate any input. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Korean places. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.
