Living in Lyndhurst -the reality

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $1,327 for rent here. Household incomes average around $88,701 in Lyndhurst. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Dallas about 11 years ago. The main reasons were school and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Hope this helps!.
