Housing market in Lyndon right now

Random thought, I'm originally from Pittsburgh and Household incomes average around $65,392 in Lyndon. It's a a small town city with about 10,956 people. Median household income is $65,392, which feels about average for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Close to nature
- Easy commute
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
- Not enough green space
Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to.
