Curious what people think. Median household income is $74,715, which feels about average for the area.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is underrated in most areas.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much affordable but now it's excellent.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 9 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is excellent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Came here for work and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The safety is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.
