Relocating to Lynn, MA -pros and cons?

Hey folks, I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,612 for rent here. The median home value here is around $472,600, which is pretty steep. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 5 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Came here for retirement and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The safety is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
