What's it really like living in Lynn?

OK so Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 10.7%, which is around average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 101K people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely excellent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (The Heights) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Austin, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Came here for family and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The traffic is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
