Random thought, Just moved here 12 months ago and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $76,439 in Lynnwood. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Does this match your experience?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in engineering. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Korean.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Riverside. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in government. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally improving. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Indian.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in West area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
