Day-to-day life in Lyons, IL

Anyone else feel this way? The median home value here is around $243,500, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What would you do?

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The community vibe is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Denver it's decent.
