Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $243,958 in Lyons. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
