Weekend activities in Lyons?
Been meaning to ask this. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Worth the trade-offs?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 7 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
It's not for everyone but it works for us..
