Why I chose Macedonia over bigger cities

Hey, I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $108,059 in Macedonia. Crime rate is something to consider -Macedonia sits at 219.0 per 100K. The median home value here is around $294,500, which seems about average. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Is this normal for Macedonia? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Oak Park side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The healthcare is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Minneapolis it's underrated.
