Just moved here 16 months ago and Household incomes average around $118,825 in Mack. The unemployment rate is 1.5%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.
I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
