Been living here since 2012. Household incomes average around $29,167 in Macon. With a population of 3,454, Macon is a small town. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
