Alright, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $63,619, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Madera sits at 504.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 21.7%, which is higher than I expected. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
