Top 5 things I love about Madera

I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 7.3%, which is concerning. It's a a smaller city city with about 67,133 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 4 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
