Dog-friendly places in Madison?
Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $334,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
