Moving to Madison for work -advice?
Hi all, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 27,775, Madison is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,775 people. Poverty rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
