Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 6.6%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I overthinking this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from LA about 12 years ago. The main reasons were school and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is solid.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
