I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,364/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $346,900 on average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 276K people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
