It's a a small town city with about 10,973 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a data analyst and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much pricey but now it's improving.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in education. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
