Random thought, Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $93,000 in Magnolia Springs. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Does this match your experience?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a social worker who relocated here from Atlanta about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is better than expected.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a chef and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is improving and there's always something going on.
