Honest thoughts on life in Mahomet

Hi all, The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,202 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks in advance! The suburbs are where most families end up. Used to live on the Midtown side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.
