Best neighborhoods to rent in Mahopac?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but With a population of 9,171, Mahopac is a small town. Thanks!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Maple Ridge. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in retail. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for work and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The cultural scene is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
