Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $98,300 on average.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's pretty good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in finance. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want healthcare, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.
