Moving to Manchester for work -advice?

Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 10.6%, which is around average. It's a a smaller city city with about 36,561 people. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Manchester sits at 173.5 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Should I be concerned? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
