Planning a move to Manchester -neighborhoods?

Hello, With a population of 36,561, Manchester is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 10.6%, which is around average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What would you do? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Oak Park. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..
