Rent in Manchester getting crazy

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,357/month for a decent place. With a population of 36,561, Manchester is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Has anyone dealt with this?

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
