What surprised you most about Manchester?
I work in logistics and It's a a smaller city city with about 36,561 people. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,357/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up.

- Plenty of shopping options

The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
