Is it worth buying in Manchester?

The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 5,144 people. You can expect to pay around $743 for rent here. Average temperature is around 46--F, so expect cold winters. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great sushi places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
