Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Phoenix about 13 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
