Manchester in the winter -how bad?
I'm a remote worker and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a electrician who relocated here from Dallas about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.
