Cheapest neighborhoods in Manchester?

Hi all, I'm originally from Tucson and Homes are going for about $286,900 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I overthinking this? Thanks in advance! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a physical therapist, 33, moved here 10 years ago from Charlotte. I've lived in Midtown and Riverside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Friendly community, easy to meet people
3. Good internet infrastructure
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Not very walkable outside downtown
3. The community vibe situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Midtown: Great for singles. improving vibes, walkable.
- Riverside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Charlotte, everything felt improving. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are pricey. Gas is wild. You can live comfortably on $50K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Vietnamese places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
