Moving from San Diego to Mandan next month

OK so Just moved here 7 months ago and The median home value here is around $246,300, which is actually reasonable. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Let me know your thoughts.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 1 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Came here for school and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The food scene is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
