Best neighborhoods in Mandeville

Hey folks, I'm retired and With a population of 12,931, Mandeville is a small town. You can expect to pay around $1,326 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thoughts? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 6 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
