Housing market in Manhasset Hills right now

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Manhasset Hills sits at 26.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $3,213 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any help is appreciated.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The food scene is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value job market, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely tough and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Eastside) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Houston, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Homeless population growing downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
